About Socialist Party India

An effort towards the revival of socialism in India — championing equality, justice, and the rights of every citizen since 2011.

Our Story

The Socialist Party (India) was founded in 2011 with a vision to revive the true spirit of socialism in India. Born out of the need to address the growing inequalities and injustices in our society, the party was established by committed individuals who believed in the power of collective action and social justice.

Our journey began with a small group of dedicated activists who were inspired by the rich legacy of India's socialist movement. Drawing from the principles laid down by great socialist leaders like Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Jayaprakash Narayan, and Acharya Narendra Deva, we embarked on a mission to create a more equitable and just society.

Over the years, we have grown from a grassroots movement to a pan-India political party, with members and supporters from all walks of life. Our commitment to the principles of socialism — equality, social justice, secularism, and democratic values — remains unwavering as we continue to fight for the rights and dignity of every Indian citizen.

Our Vision

To build a society based on socialist principles where every individual has equal opportunities, access to resources, and the right to live with dignity. We envision an India free from exploitation, discrimination, and inequality — a nation where social justice, economic equity, and political democracy are the cornerstones of governance.

Our Mission

To actively work towards establishing a socialist society through democratic means, empowering the marginalized and oppressed sections of society, promoting secular values, fighting against all forms of exploitation and injustice, and building a mass movement that represents the aspirations of ordinary citizens.

We believe in creating a society where every individual, regardless of caste, creed, religion, gender, or economic status, has equal rights and opportunities.
