Types of Membership

A

Primary Membership

Any Indian citizen aged 18 or above who subscribes to the objectives of the party may become a primary member by paying ₹10 as membership fee for two years. After two years, membership must be renewed. The membership year starts from 1st April.

B

Active Membership

A primary member can become an active member after approval of the State Committee on the recommendation of the respective District Committee, which will verify the conduct of the person for one year.

  • Must already be a primary member of the party.
  • Requires approval of the State Committee on the recommendation of the respective District Committee.
  • The District Committee will verify the member's conduct for one year — covering political and personal conduct, commitment to democratic socialism, financial contributions, participation in agitations and meetings, and readiness to sacrifice for the party.
  • Must follow the party's disciplinary guidelines and code of conduct.
  • Must contribute 5% of their income to party funds regularly.
  • Must enrol at least 20 primary members of the party, of whom at least one-third must be female.

Check Eligibility

Ensure you are an Indian citizen aged 18 or above and that you subscribe to the objectives of the Socialist Party (India).

Fill the Membership Form

Complete the official membership application form with your personal details and state information.

Pay the Membership Fee

Pay the primary membership fee of ₹10 for a two-year membership period, starting 1st April.

Become Active

After at least one year as a primary member, you may apply for active membership through your District Committee.
